I Could Not Bake with My Oven

I love to bake, so when something happened to my oven not long ago, it really bothered me. I did not want to put out money for a new oven, because the one I had was actually perfect for me up until it stopped baking suddenly a few weeks ago. It was out of warranty a few years ago, so I decided to look online and see if I could find a reputable company that does major appliance repair in Sacramento. I knew that I would just end up buying a new one if I had to, but I was hoping that this one would be able to get fixed.

It was still heating up, but it was not baking anything the way it normally did. My cakes were coming out half baked, and my cookies looked like a three year old had baked them. I won’t even get into how awful my pies were turning out. I was able to find a company that was able to come out the day after I called them. I told them the type of oven I had, and I kept my fingers crossed that they would be able to fix it.

The best way I could explain what the oven was doing was just heating at varying temperatures. Sometimes 450 was a true 450 degrees, but sometimes 325 was actually hotter than 450. The repairman told me on the phone that it could be a few different things, but it sounded like the temperature sensor just needed to be changed. When he came out, it turned out that this was exactly the problem. It did not take long to fix, and it was not expensive to fix either. I was able to start baking that same day, and I think I am going to bake the repair company a thank you gift!
